"My only sales experience was 3 months working in a Verizon store and it was not what I was looking for when I pivoted to Sales from Healthcare. What’s your best advice for interviewing for the SDR Role given the competitive landscape and the current demand for higher quality talent?
“Be authentic and don’t try to fit any mold you think they’re looking for in an SDR. The best SDR teams have a diverse group of approaches and strategies and don’t all have identical processes. Additionally almost any job can have carryover skills to a sales role so don’t discount a position or activity you did just because it wasn’t direct sales experience. Also the way you say things is often as important as what you say so be clear, prepared and confident and you can crush any interview.”
What LaunchSource Company I’m starting my career and what i’m most excited about in 2024?
“I started in 2022 at Cognism when they were still pretty new to the US market, after establishing themselves in the UK and EMEA. Within a year I was able to get promoted to manager and I’m excited to see the continued growth of the team and the company as a whole as we expand further.”
